Iraq refugee crises did not get the media attention because the media did not want to make the population feel guilty about Human suffering. Now the war in the background and people don’t associate the crises with their war support you see way more images. This crises have been on huge scale since 2003, it just got more publicity now. Which is good and sad at the same time

Baghdad protests that media refuse to make a prominent story. Because this time its the youth asking for a non conservative/religious government and allow secular system to take control. Because the protesters are asking for corrupt politicians to be sacked. #Iraq #braveprotestors
Kurds Decision
The Kurds have all the rights for getting their independence especially after they proved that they are the only part of Iraq that had healthy growth and almost zero violence because they did not fight internally and destroyed their land. That is said the borders may be way bigger issue than having their own country. It may sound appealing to have more land , but that could end up being worse with the instability of the country. The Kurds will win a lot but lose a lot too. Just look at the best example in the world now , the EU is uniting the differences not splitting them. I know Iraq is no Europe , but decisions need to be done with the long term in mind.
Iraq Army Support
I dislike the Iraqi prime minister as much as any other person but this blame game does not take us anywhere, I don’t want him to stay but the only way we can can get Iraq back on its feet is if we support the army against those religious militant. Its just a matter of stabilizing Iraq and then turning the tide around
Iraq Voters
Its pity to blame Iraqi voters and its even worse that Iraqi so called secular pages publish such views. What is happening now is not a response to the election, but because of the anti-life and hard-liners trying to control the lives of citizens

Iraq suffering
Iraq have been suffering tremendously year after year, the real problem is within the culture that Saddam created (this is not a single blame point). He destroyed the sense of “our country good” and turned into “Our religion good”, “our sect good” , “our Arab good”, “our Kurd good” , “our city good” or even worse “our tribe good” and now even our Iraqi cries for help only come out when one of these “ours” happen and never when all Iraq in need. The bloodshed will not end till all those “our” go away and only “our country” stays.
